Our Mission:
The Christ Child Society of Omaha is dedicated to strengthening the lives of the youth, elderly and families in it community.
Our Position:
The strength and the foundation of our programs are community involvement. We provide necessary programs that allow people to live to their fullest potential.
Our National History:
The Christ Child Society of Omaha is part of a national movement begun in 1887 by Mary Virginia Merrick, a woman who started a sewing circle with her friends to make clothes for poor children out of love for the Christ Child.
Even though it has been more than a century since Mary Virginia Merrick founded the Christ Child Society in Washington, D.C., the organization’s commitment to provide services to those less fortunate has expanded throughout the United States.
